she revealed a little bit more of her history, and really it is not changing the outcome for her at this point, but it would probably start to alleviate her fears. so at least she is getting though that part with me by sharing all that she knows rather than fearing judgement or whatever else she fears.
apparently it is important enough for her to come to resolution in her own brain about what she has and has not done in the past and what she knows and does not know. she really needs to educate herself. she really needs to improve her health literacy.
improving one's health literacy is not easy. it takes a lot of work. but it is very much worth it.
she might have been a poor historian for her primary care physician.
