now with the use of online dating sites and frienship sites, more and more people are taking nice fotos of their faces.  I have found that, for some of these people, they are susceptible to the iceberg effect.  this is when they have an excellent foto of their face which makes it seem like they will be slender or normoweight, but upon meeting her or him, it becomes quite apparent that she or he is fat, obese, masively overwieght and often, less desirable.  this is the iceberg effect.
